Tonight was the infamous "Crosstown Showdown" ... the first ever MHS vs. MNHS football game. Our freshman, JV, and varsity teams all won. Varsity won 42-28 tonight.. oh yeah.

So needless to say, even though they were the "home" team, they still left with their tails between their legs.

I've never seen so much school spirit as I did at the game tonight. One side of the stands was completely gold and the other was completely orange. Also everyone was so LOUD.. they were banging thunder sticks together and screaming at everything. After halftime, we stood in front the stands and played a cadence, and they just went nuts. It was awesome. Jon was even into the spirit - he was wearing the "Beat North" shirt Brendan got him. Yay!

Tomorrow is the Mesquite Marching Festvial. Blah!!!
