Drumline is rockin' this year.

We went to the Plano East Marching Festival today and won "Best Percussion" in 4A, and then later learned from Jon that we had the highest percussion score of everyone there. Yay!! So we got a big shiny trophy that I think is made out of plastic or something. Lol.

The band as whole got a first division rating (woo) which is good because we got a second division last week at Mesquite. We placed seventh in the preliminaries and were going to play in the finals but the competition was called off because of rain. The rain sucked.. while we were waiting in the stands to hear the awards and placements of everyone, I was freezing. It wasn't raining that hard but it was so cold and windy. I was trying to fit under an umbrella with about four other people.

I must have gotten pnemonia or something. Lol.

That's all I'm gonna post for now since I'm really tired.
