We finally went to UIL yesterday, after preparing for it since July 28 or whenever it was way back in the day when summer band started. And we got a 1, so now we can all rest easy knowing that our entire marching season wasn't a waste. Plus we can get the Sweepstakes award in the spring now. Hurray.

I had my first yearbook deadline night tonight which was .. hm.. productive? I guess, lol. I'm supposed to write a story about this sophomore girl so I got that done and it was still only 5 or so. I didn't want to leave until everyone else did so I read "Pride and Prejudice" and almost finished it. I have a test over it tomorrow.. ack. I should be fine on it except for the essay, because I really didn't like that book and I don't want to write about it.

Somebody's mom brought us dinner and it was really good. Lots of lasagna, spaghetti, garlic bread, rolls, corn, salad, brownies, rice krispie treats, and cookies. It was awesome.

There's only three more football games left.. how sad... I'm really going to miss marching with this band, it's been some of the best and worst experiences of my high school career.
