I guess it's time for me to update.
But first...
Awwww, little Sandy.
So Emily B. called me yesterday and wanted to hang out with me and James and Shannon. Shannon is a girl in my grade and James is home because he just got discharged from the Navy. He fought some guy but that's not really the main reason .. turns out his hearing's not so good. During some sort of battle simulation somebody yelled at James to "get down" but he thought the guy said "go around" so he ended up getting 'shot'. Kinda sucks.
Anyways. We all met up at the new Starbucks and it was quite entertaining. James was trying to mess with his girlfriend (who also is named Lauren) and when she called him he had Shannon answer the phone. Shannon made it sound like she and James were um ... doing something ... and so he couldn't talk on the phone. It was great. But a little while later, James called her back and made up some lie about how he left his coat somewhere and Shannon found the phone and answered it. It was a good lie; I would have believed it.
After we got bored at Starbucks, we went over to Old Navy but didn't see anything particularly interesting. Actually that's an understatement - it was really boring. So we did the hick-ish thing - "hey, let's go to Wal-Mart!"
Don't get me wrong, this isn't a bad city, but if you aren't hungry and you don't want to see any movies there is NOTHING to do. So we went over there to just walk around I guess. My mom called and asked me to pick up a jar of marshmellow fluff but they didn't have any so the only productive part of our trip didn't happen. At about 7 we realized we had to go pick up James' little brother Jonah (although James calls him Josh.. too many J's, ahhh!!) So we drove to Wing Stop, and I hate wings but the fries there are incredibly good. So is the ranch dressing. Eating the fries dipped in ranch is, as Mitch would say, "like your mouth just had an orgasm". So we hung out there until 8 when Jonah got off work.
Then our next stop was James' house. We went to Subway to get Jonah some food and Blockbuster to rent a movie, but we eventually made it. I took a couple pictures. Here is

James .. I took this sitting down, I'm not THAT short. I also took a pic of James trying to hide from the world, but I haven't gotten it on here yet. I'll do that next time.
I went home before we watched the movie because my parents wanted me home at 9:30.. blah.. so early. Oh well.
