Finally.. after weeks of cold and rainy days, we get a nice afternoon.. it was like 70 degrees outside today.
We started learning "Pulp Friction", the stomp thing we're going to play at the percussion concert. It's a whole lot easier than "No Exit". The only annoying part about it is that I have to memorize it. Shouldn't be a huge deal because it's fairly repetitive. The concert is in less than a month, though. It got moved back a day because of something or other that I can't remember right now. But that's good because our school is hosting a journalism competition/series of lectures on the night the concert was originally planned (March 10). This thing is invitation only, and Ms. O was telling us that a lot of schools expressed interest in coming. Not to be arrogant, but when your yearbook is one of the top 28 in the nation, other people want to take part when you host journalism things. :-D
My birthday is in 14 days.. woo! It'll be fairly uneventful. I'll just do some family things and possibly go to Starbucks with a group of friends. Wow, I am one crazy person. Haha. Last year Kelly and Katie threw me a surprise party.. only they were the only two people there. Lol. Those were the days.. the pre-Mitch days. Back when I actually saw Kelly for more than two seconds during the day. Things certainly do change alot.
